Meet Daniela Rose.

The founder
I didn't set out to start a jewelry company. I grew up in it — both my parents spent their careers in the industry, so I learned the difference between good quality jewelry and great quality jewelry before I really understood what it was worth. I had never thought of it as a career path; it was everyday life.
DRJ started much more organically. Friends would ask me for help designing pieces and finding jewelry they couldn't quite find or afford in stores. At the time I was building a career in the corporate world, but I quickly realized I wanted something more creative, personal, and meaningful.
From the beginning, my goal was simple: make high-quality fine jewelry more approachable, transparent, and tailored to you. Too often the industry feels intimidating, opaque, and impersonal. I don't believe you should have to choose between quality, design, and feeling like you belong in the fine jewelry world.

Why we cost less — and mean more.
DRJ was built to challenge how this generation buys fine jewelry — more clarity, more access, and more personalization from start to finish. Every piece is custom made-to-order in our family-owned and operated Toronto studio.
Buying from a case
- Pieces held in inventory, marked up to cover overhead
- Layers of middlemen between the bench and the buyer
- Opaque diamond pricing; limited say in the design
- Pressure to choose from what's in stock today
- You meet the piece at the end
Building it with you
- Made to order — no inventory, no retail markup
- Founder-led and crafted in-house, start to finish
- Transparent diamond options with their true costs
- Designed around you, your hand, and your budget
- You're there from the first sketch
What this means for you: a fully guided experience where quality, pricing, and design decisions are transparent and fair — so you can focus on creating something meaningful, not navigating the industry.

The studio
Made in Toronto, by hand.
Everything happens in our family-owned and operated Toronto studio — design, sourcing, and production, all under one roof. Working fully in-house means we control the quality at every step, and you're never handed off to a stranger. The person who designs your piece is the person who sees it through.
