Redesign & Reset

Give an heirloom a second life.

Why people redesign

Most of us have a piece we'd never selland never wear. A redesign turns it intosomething you'll love.

Some of the most meaningful jewelry sits in a drawer — a grandmother's ring, a piece that's no longer your style, or gold you'll never wear as-is. Redesign transforms those pieces into something you'll reach for every day.

We honour what matters most about the original piece and thoughtfully reimagine the rest, incorporating your existing diamonds, gemstones, and gold wherever possible.

Before → after

The same stones, a second life.

A humble "before" and the piece it became. The contrast is the whole story — kept, not bought again.

The part no one offers

Your old gold pays for the new.

01

Your Gold

The heirloom you bring — its metal weighed, its stones assessed for reuse.

02

Weighed & Valued

Reclaimed gold valued openly at the current market rate — you see the number.

03

Credited Back

That value comes straight off your new piece, before anything proceeds.

How it works

Four steps, full transparency.

01

Consultation

We begin by reviewing your existing piece or collection, discussing what you'd like to keep or change, and exploring design ideas, budget, and possibilities together.

02

Concept + Gold Value

We evaluate your jewelry, test your gold and gemstones, and calculate the value of any gold that can be reused as a credit toward your new piece.

03

Design + Sourcing

We refine the design together and, if needed, source any additional diamonds, gemstones, or materials to bring your vision to life.

04

Reset + Delivery

Your new piece is handcrafted in our Toronto studio, thoughtfully combining your existing materials with new elements — then finished, inspected, and ready to wear.

Redesign FAQ

Not at all! Most of our redesign clients come in unsure. We'll explore different design directions together and help create a piece based on what you'd like to keep, change, and the style and type of jewelry you'd love to add to your collection.

Absolutely. We often reuse your original stones, gold, or meaningful design elements in the new piece wherever possible. If there are any components you don't want incorporated, we'll gladly return them to you.

We assess your existing gold and calculate its value based on purity and weight. That value is credited toward your new piece, and you see the calculation openly — it's part of why a redesign often costs less than starting from raw materials.

We evaluate each stone individually. Even worn or broken jewelry can often be melted down, reset, or reimagined into something new. We'll never set a stone that isn't secure.

Often, yes — many redesigns merge stones from a few heirlooms into a single piece you'll actually wear. It's a beautiful way to carry several people at once.

It can, if that's important to you. We can preserve elements of the original design or completely reimagine it, depending on your preference.

We return anything not used unless you prefer otherwise. Nothing is kept or repurposed without your approval.

Most redesigns take 3–6 weeks from design approval to completion, with production running 2–4 weeks after approval. We'll give you a clear timeline at the consultation.

Your next favourite piece could already be in your jewelry box.
